Kamino ("the app") is a household upkeep tracker. This policy explains what data the app handles. It is intentionally short because the app collects very little.
The items you track (names, categories, replacement intervals, costs, and notes), your replacement history, and your settings are stored locally on your device using iOS storage. This information is not transmitted to us and we cannot access it.
If you enable "Cloud AI refine" and tap the sparkle button on a note, the text of that single note is sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which forwards it to a third-party language-model provider solely to return a rewritten version. The text is used only to fulfill that request and is not stored on our server beyond the request. This feature is off-path from the core app and entirely optional.
We do not require an account. We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, location, advertising identifiers, or analytics. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell data.
Kamino is rated 4+ and is not directed at children specifically, but contains no objectionable content and collects no personal data.
